Surface Transportation Weather Research Center (STWRC)
Role: Web designer/developer, graphic designer
The Surface Transportation Weather Research Center (STWRC) is housed in the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences located on the campus of the University of North Dakota (UND). STWRC is a university organization conducting leading edge investigations on advanced road weather data acquisition, analysis, and prediction issues associated with transportation maintenance, operations, and advanced traveler information systems.
My role as web designer and developer required close collaboration with the customer to create an aesthetically pleasing site with easy navigation. This project used pre-existing content, along with the creation of new material which necessitated consultin with the facility manager for content, then editing the material provided.
As a graphic designer, a logo was created to represent the mission and focus of STWRC. Additional photos were taken by me to provide a visual experience.
